- To
bring together all of the sports related individuals, groups, events,
and Facilities to work together to promote their interests and
networking abilities
- In
the metro Atlanta area, there does not exist an arena in the
5,000-15,000 seating capacity that is suitable for hosting multiple
events
- To
publish a complete listing of events, facilities and accommodations
that can be used as a marketing tool
- To
promote companies in Gwinnett to sponsor local events to keep spending
in county
Volunteer
Opportunities
- Gwinnett
Sports Council will create and maintain a volunteer database that will
enable members to be advised of upcoming events and how they can
participate.
Gwinnett Sports
Council
- The
Gwinnett Sports Council will be an independent organization
- Memberships,
Sponsorships, Golf Tournaments, Event Management and a Magazine that
will be published annually will fund the Sports Council.
